This is an old friend of mine for nearly thirty years. We once shared similar ideals and life trajectories. We both have a passion for oil painting. However, when I was young, I turned to the IT industry, immersing myself for over twenty years.
My old friend, on the other hand, has remained true to his original aspiration, teaching, painting, reading, and writing. Despite the marks of time etched on our faces, his heart remains young, filled with enthusiasm for art and a love for life. Every day, he wields his brush before the canvas, creating beautiful artworks that convey his emotions and thoughts through colors and strokes.
As for me, I've been navigating the world of marketing, chasing technological innovation and business success. Although my professional journey is riddled with busyness and challenges, I have never forgotten my dreams and passion. I believe, much like my old friend, that enthusiasm doesn't wane; it continues to accompany us, guiding us forward.
Though we embarked on different paths, our friendship and shared initial goals still bind us. Amidst my busy schedule, I always make time to visit my old friend, appreciating his artwork and listening to his stories. His perseverance and ardor fuel my ongoing progression, reminding me of my dreams and driving me towards a better self.
Now, looking back on the past, I'm overwhelmed with emotions. Despite choosing divergent paths, we both persist in our respective fields, pursuing excellence. It's a chapter of cherished memories and a mutual source of pride. Regardless of what the future holds, we'll continue to use our passion and persistence to script our own remarkable life stories.
