From Paper Boat to Lacquered Art: A Story of Transformation
This lacquered art tray began as a paper boat, folded by my daughter and destined for the trash. Intrigued by its creases and irregular folds, I preserved its shape with natural lacquer, adding layers to strengthen it. After over a month of work, its surface now displays a rust-like patina, embodying wabi-sabi beauty.
